Resolved Question: Which southern CA beach should we go to for the 4th of july?

so- me, my husband, my 4 yr old and two friends want to go to a beach for the 4th of july. I want to go somewhere i havent been, ive been to La Jolla which we loved, the beach where the Navy Seals train, and Huntington Beach. My friend wants to go surfing, me i just want to play and be amazed. I have read some of the answers on here and some suggest Seal Beach and Crystal Cove (state park?) are these the nicest? And if we decide to stay the night does anyone have any suggestions? im not at all familiar with CA - we live at Fort Irwin and bc we are so far away (in the desert) we dont get out much.... read more
